Yesterday the Big 8 (the conference representing most of the High Schools in the Dane County area) announced that all conference competition for winter sports will be cancelled.
While this does not directly impact Boys Volleyball, these winter sports are the per-cursor events to the alternative Fall Schedule that boys volleyball is on. Boys Volleyball (and any other sports that are participating in the alternative Fall Schedule) are the next set of activities that are currently eligible to play.
Big 8 member schools have determined conference competition for winter sports will not occur this winter. As each district allows, in-person practices, games, and workouts may be allowed to occur as adopted by member schools and following public health recommendations.
